Claypool Gold

San Diego’s iconic Petco Park will transform into a three ringed musical circus for the ultimate musical event as The Claypool Gold Tour arrives on Wednesday, July 1st 2026 when all three of the world’s most creative and groundbreaking bands from 3 different projects of the incredibly innovative and passionate Bass/Songwriter Les Claypool will come together to share the stage in a truly once-in-a-lifetime affair.

Primus

Primus is an eclectic, innovative, and experimental band known for their unorthodox bass lines, socially aware and often absurd lyrics, and unique song arrangements. During live performances, band members are known to assume a variety of odd postures and stances. Lead vocalist and bassist Les Claypool, guitarist Trey Powell, and drummer Jay Lane comprise the core of the iconic band that continues to develop and release new music, such as their 2026 EP, A Handful of Nuggs, and their upcoming 2027 release.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium

The Claypool Lennon Delirium is a project created by Sean Ono Lennon and Les Claypool. This band performs the most psychedelic of sounds in order to tell a story. This is a project that delves deep into the progressive rock and the psychedelic genre in order to bring their fans the most creative and experimental work. Their set list typically includes a wide variety of songs including “Amethyst Realm,” “South of Reality,” and “Little Fishes.” Recently, the band released a new album in 2026 called The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy.

Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade

Formed in 2000 by Les Claypool as a side project to Primus, the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade (F4) is a diverse collection of extremely talented musicians that come together to perform an extremely long show of music. The songs that the band plays are a combination of original songs as well as cover songs. These cover songs are performed in an extremely long form, unlike most other covers. After a 20 year hiatus, the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade released a performance album, The Return of the Live Frogs Vol. 1, in 2026.
